Work Summary

With more than 1,100 kilometres between destinations (including a 890-km trip from Morewood to Cochrane, as well as a 287-km train ride from Cochrane to Moosonee), Northern Alliance undertook the challenging task of hauling 120 modular homes from Morewood, Ontario, to the remote northern community of Moosonee.

This project required careful coordination, particularly around train schedules and the loading and unloading of the oversized homes—as any misstep could lead to costly delays or damaged cargo.

RESULTS

After about four weeks of meticulous planning and obtaining permits, plus 15 weeks of transporting the homes, the team ensured that every building was moved and unloaded safely and on time—with no accidents or delays, and ready for rapid deployment.

As a result, we delivered more than just homes—we delivered peace of mind to a community in need.
